Meet Your Host

Grainne runs the B&B country house with the help of her  daughter  and three sons when they are visiting home.
The name Rhu-Gorse derives from the pedigree of an irish setter Mc (pronounced mac). Mc was a huge part of the household but unfortunately due to ill health and old age is no longer with us since March 2010.
Grainne’s love of animals does not stop there.  Her three old horses are pensioned off after a lifetime of breeding and are now living in gentle retirement.
We are sure you will enjoy your stay at Rhu-Gorse B&B.
